October - Colors
Can't believe October is over now!!!
In October, our nursery children were busy working on colors.
There are so many activities we did with colors. Let's check them out!!!
Rainbow Ice Cube, Painting with Corn, Exploring color with bubbles and Mixing colors help the children to learn different colors by mixing them together, experienced different texture of materials, practiced fine motor skills as well as social skills.
Nobody can say no to bubbles!!!
"I made the orange color paint with yellow and red paint".
I have observed that the children were interested in shapes and transportation. So, we set up some shapes light table, painting with cars and rescue car provocation activities for the children to expand their interests.
Rainbow Shapes on the Light Table gives the children a chance to learn color and shapes.
Car Rescue
Since it's still good weather outside, the children always ask to have some fun on the play structure so we take the children outside before they leave for home.
These are some sensory activities we did with the nursery children.
Sensory play helps children to learn vitally important sensory attributes (hot, cold, )
Hey, look what's inside of a pumpkin!!!
It smells very good.
Exploring Rainbow Rice in the sensory table.
What a fun month exploring colors!!!
In November, we will be working on Alphabets.
So many more fun activities are coming soon.
