Avaition Museum

Today we went to The Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada.  First the children toured the hangar and even got to board one of the original Air Canada planes that flew out of Winnipeg.

After the tour, the children participated in groups to design and create their own airplane.  They worked hard cutting and taping and came up with some pretty well designed planes.

After lunch, we had some extra time to explore the museum.  We found a play area on the second floor however most of the children spent the rest of their time on the flight deck watching planes land and take off.
