November - Letters

N is for November!!!

In November, we worked on letters every day.

With playdough, the children traced the letter on the playdough to learn how to write the letters.

Loose parts materials helped the children to explore a variety of texture. The children were not only learning the letters but also practicing fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, language and vocabulary building.

I have observed that the children were still so interested in transportation.
So, we learned "C" is for cars, "S" is for scooters and "T" is for trains.

Some children already started to spell their names. We helped the children to spell their names on the paper and they traced their names with dot stickers and glue.

Dots in the letter!!!
The children loved to use the dot markers so we had some different sizes of letters on a big piece of paper and the children got to trace the letters with the dot markers.

So many letters we learned in November!!!

In December, we will be working on numbers!
3, 2, 1...you'll have to wait and see!
