We had a VERY busy day. Our Grade 5's organized a FIFA World Cup soccer event for the children. They were divided into 4 teams: Brazil, Germany, Belgium and England(I may have been cheering the loudest for the last team...no bias 😉)
It was a real nail biter and it ended up coming down to last few seconds but Germany won 3-2 over England in the finals with Brazil coming in 3rd and Belgium taking 4th place.
In the afternoon, we planned a super cool activity for our school-aged children using hot rocks and crayons. Just by touching the crayon to the rock, it began to melt making for some pretty amazing artwork. Risky play at it's finest.
Finally, in the Mini Gym a few of our older children used basically every loose part available to create an incredible city for the group to play with. Way to go Ayan, Karam and Adam!
